Joe Pesci, everyone loves him.
Let's deep dive into Joe's origins.
Born in 1943 in Belleville, in New Jersey.
Son to Angelo Pesci, General Motors worker from Turin, and Maria Mesce from Avellino.
His Italian Blood shows his power since a young age, when in 1961 debuts in the Musical "Hey, Let's Twist".
After 14 years from that moment and other alternative jobs, included the barber, Joe is cast in Backstreet, a police movie starring the Pesci's best friend Frank Vincent too.
But the real game-changer will happen when De Niro and Scorsese decided, after his good performance in Backstreet, to give him a chance in the masterpiece we all know as "Raging Bull".
After Raging Bull is a downhill path for Joe, who shows his ability to switch from action to drama to comedy: "Once Upon a Time in America", "Lethal Weapon"(i watch it sometimes even just because Joe Pesci), "Home Alone", just to mention some.
And of course the long-lasting partnership with De Niro in many other memorable movies like "Casino", "Good Fellas", and the less-loved "Irish Man".
The Italians are good at acting, it's not a mystery. Joe has gifted us so much and I'm sure more to come.
