Lasagna Bolognese... a dream that comes true!

In my whole life, I have eaten so many Lasagna(my belly can confirm it...). So many versions of it from the 100% Italian recipe to the American one.

One thing I can tell you for sure: if you want the "Real" Lasagna you need something called "Bechamel Sauce". My advice is to get Bechamel/White Sauce(be careful! it's different from the Alfredo Sauce!) directly from your shop, because just to prepare it takes a long time.

This preparation is for 8 people.

Step 1: Cut the Celery into small pieces, same for carrots and onions. Then dump the 3 beauties along with olive oil into the pan and cook the mix for 10 minutes.

Step 2: When the vegetable are enough cooked add the Ground Pork and Beef. Leave them to cook for 10 minutes. Add White Wine from time to time, remember that the secret for a good Bolognese is it should never be too dry or too liquid.

Step 3: When the White Wine is all evaporated you can finally add the Tomato Sauce along with 1 liter of water and salt. It must cook for at least 1 hour and mixed up from time to time. After the first hour add another liter of water and cook for another hour. Repeat this procedure and add the third liter of water. It's a total of 3 hours and 3 liters of water, it's as simple as that! When it is done add the milk and black pepper.

Step 4: take a baking tin(8x11 inches), time for the funniest part! Pour a little bit of White Sauce and spread until it covers the whole surface, then add the first Lasagna Sheet. Then spread the White Sauce and cover with Lasagna Sheet. Then spread the Bolognese Sauce along with Parmesan Cheese and cover with Lasagna Sheet. Repeat this procedure until you fill the whole baking tin.

Step 5: Final touch is to pour the Bolognese Sauce all over and add a load of Parmesan Cheese, as much as you like. Put this masterpiece into the oven and cook it for 25 minutes at a 200°C(392°F).

Time to eat, I mean time to devour the Lasagna Bolognese!
