Boboli Garden in Florence

Today we are going to visit one of the most beautiful gardens in Italy: the Boboli Garden in Florence.

The first time I visited this Garden it reminded me so much of Versailles. It's an immense creation that started in 1400 and had spanned over 500 years to reach perfection.

It originally was owned by the Borgolo Family, and was mainly use for Agriculture.

The game change happened when Luca Pitti and then Eleonora di Toledo bought the place.

They invested their wealth in improving it with the help of the best architects like Niccolò Tribolo.

One of the first thing to visit is the huge "Cortile dell'Ammanati" through which we can access the "Carciofo Foutain".

Next step visit the Amphitheater on the back of the Villa.

One of my favorite parts is "Viottolone". It's literally green galleries with the top made with intertwined trees.

There is also a very characteristic Tower close to the "Koffeehouse", which is the perfect spot for all the coffee lovers.

Last but not least worth to mention is the "Grotta Grande" with the crazy stalactites and natural water effects.

These are just a few of the beautiful discoveries you can have in Borgolo Family.

It's up to you to discover more by going there...
