Onion Rings, the healthy way...

How many times have we eaten at Fast Food?


So many Fast Food Companies(yeah the Big ones too) have such a lovely habit: they reuse the same oil to fry and fry again.

Mamma is used to saying: "Use new Oil for every preparation". That's it.

Let's put into practice that advice to cook you guess what? Onion Rings, the healthy way...



As usual, preparation for 4 people.

Step 1: Dump into a bowl Flour, Instant Yeast, Milk, Oil, and Egg, and whip them up. When it gets enough dense leave it in the fridge for 20 minutes.

Step 2: Cut the Onions into Rings.

Step 3: Dip each Ring into the preparation from Step 1, then fried them until they have a golden color. (it's really important after you fry you should dry each Ring using some paper/napkins)

Last touch: add Salt and then.... just eat!
