How many times while in the Super Market have you wondered if exists a real Italian Pasta
you can buy it?
So many fakes, so much Pasta with the label "Italian" that has nothing Italian except for the Italian Colors on the packaging...
Today we are going to give a check to the very first Italian Brand you will find abroad.
This tradition started in 1877, by Pietro Barilla in the city of Parma.
He owned a Pasta Shop and was used to supply the local community with handmade pasta.
Generation after generation the Barilla Family has made great steps with first the innovative(for that time) "continuos baking" oven, and then finally in 1947 with the initiative, run by the Grandsons Gianni and Pietro, of expanding the distribution channel through trucks.
Time goes by and Barilla is now an International Company, in 2004 was even created the "Barilla Academy" to spread awareness of the Barilla Quality around the World.
The most important thing you need to know, look on the shelves for the Barilla brand, it had a blue(now azure) packaging.
If you buy Barilla you are 100% sure it's Italian.
I'm talking of top quality and a wide range of pasta types for all your needs.
