We all know the Ancient Romans, at least from a historical point of view,
but what about the fun part?
Let's deep dive into something you may not know about Romans...
** Soccer **
The Italians are good(or at least they were...) at playing Soccer. But it's not something new, as the Romans were already good at "balls" games, from the "Trigon Game"(where 3 players were passing a hardball back and forth) to Wall Ball(i broke my hands playing at it...) and more.
** The Romans like Bloody Perverse Games **
You just think of this: usually before the fight the Gladiators were allowed to feast while the spectators were insulting and making fun of them. Most of those Gladiators would have been dead in the following fight.
** Burp to be polite **
Yeah, it's not a joke. When the Romans were eating an amazing meal it was not only allowed to burp but it was even considered "Good manner". It's like when you thank someone after a good meal...
** Oh sweet Vanity **
Someone says "Vanity" is the Devil's favorite sin. Well, he would not have been disappointed with the Romans. They were so vain that they were used to undergo a special treatment called "rejuvenation".
** The Romans had gambling addiction **
All the current gambling(legal and illegal) that we have nowadays from a horse race to dices and more. They already had that stuff and were used to play once every half a year.
** Cheap Breakfast**
Most Romans were poor and used to only drink water at breakfast. (yeah maybe they gambled too much...)
