Trento is a city in the North, in the region of Trentino-Alto Adige, close to the the Northern Italian Border.

One of the first reasons to visit this City is architecture and history.

You cannot miss "Piazza del Duomo", with its typical square shape, from this Plaza you will enjoy the view of "Saint Vigilio Cathedral"(Duomo) and "Palazzo Pretorio", and the mountains on the background.

You just bear in mind that Duomo was built in the 13th century and has a characteristic Roman-Gothic architecture.

There is a relaxing atmosphere over there and it's so pleasant to walk around the Neptun Fountain in the middle of the Plaza.

Around the Plaza, there is a large number of Bars where you can get an Espresso to sip while enjoying the view, don't miss the Renaissance frescoes on the Cazuffi Rella homes.

Are you in the mood for Castles? Well, you get that too.

Just half mile from the Plaza you can reach on foot the spectacular Buonconsiglio Castle, which was built in 200. It's not only the place where the Bishops were used to live but nowadays it is one of the most visited Museums all over the World.

You will certainly find interesting the "Romanino" and "Dosso Dossi" frescoes in the Castle, not to mention the beautiful "Aquila Tower".

Relax, breathe history, and enjoy your deserved vacation.
